Thailand’s First Commercial Biogas Upgrading Project
In 2019, we launched Thailand’s first commercial biogas upgrading facility using Evonik’s membrane technology in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Supported by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), this Biomethane (BioCNG) facility remains Thailand’s only continuously operating plant since its inception.

Expanding Biogas & Biomethane Projects in Indonesia
Building on our success, PVE Group expanded into Indonesia, commissioning the country’s first and second commercial biogas upgrading projects in 2020 and 2023. These facilities marked Indonesia’s first use of membrane technology, enabling the production of compressed biomethane for power generation and transportation fuel.
